"Just wanted to let you know how happy and pleased I am that I found your place for Jack. From the initial phone contact with Jane, who is always so nice to speak to, to Jacks first evaluations by the therapists, I have nothing but good things to say!!
It is difficult to have a child with special needs and all of the girls there make it such a pleasure to bring Jack. At first, I was hesitant about coming because the ride is kind of long, but it is so worth it. Jill is always so caring and sweet with Jack and he is making such strides. Gwynn is a terrific speech pathologist and really knows how to work with Jack. His speech is actually somewhat intelligible now, which makes me so happy. Tara, also is such a nice person and is really great with Jack. Also the office staff at night is always pleasant.
Again, thank you all for being so wonderful. It means more than you know

"My son, Ryan, is 3 years old and has been coming to your facility since he was 18 months old. Words can't describe the gratitude my family and I feel for your entire office and especially for his therapists. Ryan has a congenital heart defect and has had 3 open-heart surgeries. His most recent surgery was at the beginning of April 2010 and we truly believe that because of your wonderful therapists he got through it like a champ. Ryan has seen many different therapists in your office and they have all worked so hard to make him as strong as he is. You can see the strength in his picture here, as it was taken just 2 days after surgery. He has had PT, OT and ST and it has all done wonders. Sibel and Tara are so patient with him and really get him to do such wonderful exercises to build up his endurance and fine/gross motor skills. Kelly even got him to eat more quantity as well as variety of foods which makes us that much closer to being off the feeding tube! Thank you so much for your facility. It has enabled my son to live a normal life. You are all special angels doing wonderful things for every child that walks through your doors. " |

"Wow, what an amazing place!! I am truly happy to have found Abilities in Action for my son, Nicholas. Nicholas was born with Down syndrome and immediately needed support with motor delays. As he aged, he needed more services and people who were willing to entice him to work harder. It was not an easy road for Nicholas, but when we first walked into this place I knew he was happy and ready to learn. The resources and various activities that were available for him excited me as I watched him smile. The therapists made it easy to feel comfortable because they were enthusiastic. The owners, support staff and the therapists are so helpful and thrilled to be working with my son, which makes me feel special. The minute I walked in the door I knew this was the place for Nicholas. Everyone greeted us with a smile and was optimistic in helping my son reach his goals. No challenge is too difficult for anyone here. I truly recommend without any reservation this facility for any family. Thank you for making this transition easy and hopeful.
